Samsung brings the Galaxy S10 Enterprise Edition to Spain

Out of the box, Samsung smartphones already pack a robust set of features for enterprise customers, but the company often goes one step ahead and launches Enterprise Editions of its flagship and select midrange devices to target the lucrative enterprise segment more effectively. It did the same with the Galaxy S10e and S10 as well and has now launched them in Spain.

Like in the past, these Enterprise Edition devices are not different from their regular counterparts in terms of hardware or software. The key differentiating factors are after-sales support, timely security updates, and enterprise-deployment and management tools like Knox Configure, Enterprise Firmware Over-The-Air service (E-FOTA on MDM), etc.

Pricing should be similar to the regular variants

Unlike the previous generation models, Samsung has been rather quiet about its Galaxy S10 Enterprise Edition devices so far and is expanding their availability without much fanfare. The press release from Samsung doesn’t include any pricing information, but if the previous models are any indication, the pricing should be similar to the regular variants.

“At Samsung we are aware of everything that companies need in a new era marked by mobility, where secure devices are increasingly demanded, but at the same time accessible from internal IT departments. The Enterprise Edition devices combine the latest advances in technology and the best performance for companies, which also want to enjoy ten years of innovation reflected in the new Galaxy S10, ” said (translated) David Alonso, Director, Samsung Spain.

Reports are coming in that Epic accounts tied to valid emails are being created fraudulently, yet users don’t seem to be receiving verification emails upon account creation.
